We publish data that people rely on to make career decisions, so getting it right matters more than looking right. If something on this site is inaccurate, we want to hear about it — and we fix it.
Every page on HVACSchoolGuide.com is verified against primary sources before it publishes, and re-reviewed on a schedule. Even so, sources change, boards update requirements, and mistakes happen. When they do, our commitment is simple: we correct the record promptly and transparently.
When we receive a correction request with a verifiable source, an editor reviews it against the relevant primary reference — the BLS, the EPA, IPEDS, or the appropriate state licensing board. If the claim checks out, we update the page, refresh its last-reviewed date, and — for anything material — note what changed. We aim to resolve documented corrections within a few business days. School administrators reporting an error in their own listing can expect a review within five business days when documentation is provided.
We do not remove or soften accurate information because a school or advertiser objects to it. Corrections are for factual errors, not for reputation management. Our rankings and match scores are generated from objective data and cannot be edited on request — see our methodology for how they are calculated.
