Licensing Note
Idaho requires HVAC licensing and 4 years of experience. Completing an apprenticeship can satisfy the experience requirements for the HVAC Journeyman License, regulated by the Idaho Division of Building Safety. Idaho also requires 8 hours of continuing education to renew.
