Licensing Note
Florida requires HVAC licensing and 4 years of experience. Completing an apprenticeship can satisfy the experience requirements for the Class A HVAC Contractor License, regulated by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Florida also requires 14 hours of continuing education to renew.
